ORA Cinnamon Clownfish

Description

The Cinnamon Clownfish is a larger Clownfish species with bright beautiful coloration. They have bodies that are mostly black with orange faces and fins. The pectoral fins are black. Behind the eyes are vertical white stripes. As juveniles, the fish display white stripes. As they grow older, the stripes develop a blue tint. These stripes are bold with striking black outlines. Cinnamon Clownfish are found in New Caledonia in the wild, but these specimens are captive-bred by ORA. As common with most large clownfish species, Cinnamon Clownfish demonstrate more aggressive behavior. This behavior is not frequent in juveniles but becomes more prevalent as they age. To avoid, or at least lessen issues with aggression, add this fish last or close to last. By adding the shy and docile fish first, you are making it more difficult for the Cinnamon Clown to establish territory. This also gives the shy fish a chance to become comfortable with their aquarium environment. The Cinnamon Clownfish is similar to the Tomato Clownfish in behavior and reproduction. Cinnamon Clownfish can be kept in pairs and can be hosted by anemones.
