The Premium Picasso Clownfish bred by ORA is the offspring of clownfish that originate from the Solomon Islands. Picasso Clownfish are naturally occurring, although extremely rare in the wild. Premium Picassos are selected by ORA graders for their unique and rare patterns, coloration, and markings. Out of all of the Picasso Clownfish bred by ORA, only a tiny percent receive the premium grading. This means ORA Premium Picasso Clownfish are going to be the most attractive and unique Picasso Clownfish. This fish, which is a percula variant, has a mix of orange and white in curving round patterns. The white is outlined in a heavy black. Some portions of the fish are fully black. The exact pattern varies greatly from fish to fish. Like any other Percula Clownfish, Premium Picasso Clownfish are easy to care for. They are hardy and accept a wide range of different aquarium foods. They can be paired together or kept singly. Of course, Premium Picasso Clownfish can be hosted by an anemone, and they look even more beautiful if done so. Because they are on the aggressive side, these fish should be added last or at least after the shy fish. This will negate issues with territory and aggression.

Captive-bred fish such as this Premium Picasso Clownfish are generally hardier and more resilient to disease than wild-caught fish. They are also less likely to carry disease from ORA than the ocean. Captive-bred fish are better adapted to aquarium life and better able to handle the stress of shipping, making them the best option all around. Purchasing captive-bred fish benefits the ocean by discouraging the wild-caught trade and its harmful practices while supporting the captive-bred industry instead. This helps make our hobby more sustainable and environmentally friendly.
