Description
Yellow Trimma Goby (Trimma sp.)
Together with species of the genus Eviota, members of Trimma are sometimes referred to as pygmygobies or dwarfgobies. Trimma is a rather sizable genus (about a hundred species in all) of tiny fish. They are even tiny among their fellow gobies and are, in fact, among the smallest fishes in the world. This makes all of these cute little fishes, including the yellow trimma goby, perfect candidates for a nano or even pico aquarium. In larger tanks, this species (unlike so many other gobioids, which tend towards intraspecific aggression) tolerate each others’ company and will form shoals if stocked in groups.
The yellow trimma goby is quite easy to care for, as it adapts well to captive environments and readily accepts a wide variety of live and prepared aquarium foods.

Benefits of Aquacultured Trimma Goby
Aquacultured livestock offer a truly huge advantage over wild-caught specimens. For example, when bred and raised under captive conditions, they adjust much more easily to aquarium life. They also are less likely to carry disease. Better still, aquacultured specimens can better tolerate shipping stress. By purchasing aquacultured fish you support the aquaculture of marine organisms and help to make our hobby more sustainable!
