Biota Yellow/Green Sinularia (Sinularia sp.)
The Yellow/Green Sinularia is a sturdy zooxanthellate soft coral. Many aquarists love the way that its soft body and big fluffy tentacles “wave” in the water currents. Tolerable of a fairly wide range of aquarium conditions, it is suitable for most beginner hobbyists. While similar to Nephthea, this Sinularia has stouter branches and is pale green. It is basically a lighter green version of the closely related Alien Hands coral. It grows well under medium to high lighting and medium flow.

The Benefits of Farmed Biota Yellow/Green Sinularia (Sinularia sp.)
Captive-bred livestock offers a huge advantage over wild-caught specimens. Because it is cultured in captivity, it is better adapted to living in an aquarium, tends to be more disease resistant and harbors fewer pests. It is also better able to handle shipping/acclimation stress! By purchasing captive-bred Yellow-Green Sinularia, you support the aquaculture of marine organisms and help to make our hobby more sustainable.
