Description
The Premium Black Snowflake was created by carefully crossing Black Ice Snowflakes with Black Ocellaris clownfish over multiple generations. A lot of time has gone into making these fish. They have completely black bodies, though some have a slight brush of orange on the face. The black is contrasted with clean, white patterns. There are generally three segments similar to the three stripes normally found on ocellaris clownfish. However, on this fish, the patterns are wild and unruly. The white is thick in some parts and thin in others. Sometimes it extends to points or great circles. They are similar patterns to those found on the normal Black Snowflake, but these ones are more extreme and odd. The care requirements, on the other hand, are exactly the same as the Black Snowflake and any other ocellaris clownfish. The Premium Black Snowflake is about as hardy as it gets. It accepts a wide range of different aquarium foods. It is peaceful and gets along well with tank mates. You can keep it in a pair or singly, and it can be hosted by an anemone. The deep black looks particularly stunning among the vibrant tentacles of a bubble tip anemone.

More Information
The awesome thing about designer clownfish and captive-bred fish, in general, is that they are beneficial to hobbyists and the ocean. Captive-bred fish such as this Premium Black Snowflake are generally hardier and more resilient to disease than wild-caught fish. They are also better able to handle the stress of shipping and better adapted for aquarium life. They benefit the ocean because their purchase of them discourages the wild-caught trade and its harmful practices, making our hobby more sustainable and environmentally friendly.
