ORA McCullochi Clownfish

Description

McCullochi Clownfish have smokey brown and black bodies that are accented by whitetails, white faces, and white head stripes. As juveniles, the fish as three stripes on its body. As they mature into adults, two of the stripes fade away, but the head stripe remains. Juvenile McCullochi Clownfish tend to be browner as well. This is a slow-growing clownfish, so the juvenile colors will remain longer than what is normal for most clownfish. This fish is on the aggressive side of clownfish, so be cautious when determining tank mates. To avoid, or at least lessen issues with aggression, add this fish last or close to last. If you plan on keeping it with other semi-aggressive fish or other clownfish, be sure to add them at the same time. All of this is done to decrease the chances of territorial disputes. These fish can be kept in pairs and can be hosted by an anemone.
