Description
The Frostbite Clownfish from ORA has a mostly white body outlined in black. There are small areas of orange on the face and a few of the fins. As the fish ages, it will develop a stunning blue hue to the outer areas of the white on its body. Some specimens will have a few black spots on their bodies, while others will have completely white bodies. It ranges from fish to fish. Because this fish is a designer clownfish bred by ORA, it was not taken from the ocean nor does it have a wild equivalent. It is just as easy to care for as any other ocellaris clownfish (even easier because it is captive-bred). The Frostbite Clownfish is peaceful and gets along well with other tank mates. It can be paired with another Frostbite Clownfish or any other ocellaris clownfish. Having a pair of two different designer clownfish can be particularly attractive. The Frostbite Clownfish will eat a wide range of different aquarium foods.

More Information
The Frostbite Clownfish is not only great for its mesmerizing looks but also its ease of care. Because it is captive-bred, this fish is hardier and more resilient to disease than wild-caught clownfish. It is far less likely to carry disease from ORA than from the ocean. Captive-bred fish are also better adapted for aquarium life and better able to handle the stress of shipping. Purchasing captive-bred fish such as this one helps the ocean by discouraging the destructive wild-caught trade while supporting the captive-bred industry. This makes our beautiful hobby more sustainable.
