Description
Ocellaris Clownfish are offspring of Midnight Clownfish. Some of these offspring are the same as a Midnight Clownfish. Others have dots, which resulted in the name Domino Clownfish. Like all designer Ocellaris clownfish, the Domino clownfish is only different in color. This means that the iconic up and down movement typical for clownfish will still be seen. They can be hosted by anemones and kept in pairs. This fish is great for people who love clownfish but want something a little different. It can be especially interesting if you pair a domino clownfish with another designer clownfish coloration. As these fish are mutations that resulted from breeding other designer clownfish, they do not originate from the ocean and are instead captive-bred.

More Information
Domino Clownfish are beautiful and intriguing, but they are also beneficial from a care standpoint. They are more adapted to aquarium life, are more disease resilient, and handle the stress of shipping better than wild-caught clownfish. This is great news for you, but it also helps the ocean. The wild-caught trade often uses cyanide which is harmful to fish and coral. By buying captive-bred fish, you are supporting the captive-bred industry and discouraging the collection of fish from our beautiful oceans. It’s a win-win! This amazing designer clownfish will not disappoint!
