Description
The Deluxe Clarkii Clownfish is the offspring of Clarkii Clownfish descendant of the Solomon Islands. Of course, this fish is captive-bred and not from the ocean. As a juvenile, this fish as a bright yellow body. As the fish matures, the yellow darkens until it is almost black. The fins will remain the same striking yellow. The stripes on the Deluxe Clarkii are irregular and unique from fish to fish. Some have full bars, while others have disconnected ones or missing bars. Some specimens even have a dot instead of a bar. Misbar Clarkii clownfish were extremely rare before this fish, so it is a treat to have this fish available to the saltwater aquarium hobby. Despite being a designer fish, it is just as easy to care for as other Clarkii Clownfish. This fish is hardy and accepts a wide range of aquarium foods. It can be kept in pairs and can be hosted by an anemone. Because this fish is territorial when fully grown, you should avoid keeping more than two in one aquarium. It is on the aggressive side of clownfish, so add it last or after you add your peaceful fish. This will decrease issues with territory.
