The Tomato Clownfish by ORA is a feisty one, but it is a beautiful and vibrant fish. The velvet red coloration is bright and gorgeous and the white stripes are distinct. If you can handle the more aggressive nature of the fish, the color is worth it.

Description

The Tomato Clownfish is a larger clownfish species that exhibits bright red that is darkest at the center of the body and gets lighter as the color radiates out. The bold white stripe steaks down right past the eye. In the wild, this fish is found throughout the Pacific. They are frequently found being hosted by an anemone. These specimens of Tomato Clownfish are captive-bred by ORA. Tomato Clownfish are one of the most aggressive species of clownfish, and they get progressively more aggressive as they age. To avoid, or at least lessen issues with aggression, add this fish last or close to last. By adding the shy and docile fish first, you are making it more difficult for the Tomato Clown to establish territory. This also gives the shy fish a chance to become comfortable with their aquarium environment. Tomato Clownfish can be kept in pairs, and they can be hosted by an anemone in an aquarium.
