Description
Misbar Clownfish are interesting because the stripes aren’t so irregular that the original pattern can’t be seen, but they still make the fish interesting and unique. What’s cool about these designer clownfish is that no two specimens are the same. That means the Misbar Caramel Clownfish you get will be unique to your aquarium alone. They have rich brown or dark orange bodies with three vertical white stripes. One or possibly two of the stripes will be disconnected and irregular. You can pair two Misbar Caramel Clownfish together, or you can pair the Misbar Caramel Clownfish with any other ocellaris clownfish as long as there is a large size difference. They do great singly as well. Like most clownfish, this fish can be hosted by certain anemone species such as a bubble tip anemone. However, an anemone is not required. The Misbar Caramel Clownfish is peaceful with other fish, though it shouldn’t be kept with large predatory fish.

More Information
Captive-bred ocellaris clownfish such as this Misbar Caramel Clownfish are hardier and more resilient to disease than wild-caught ocellaris clownfish. They are also far less likely to carry disease in the first place. Along with that, they are better adapted for aquarium life and better able to handle the stress of shipping. What’s more is that by purchasing captive-bred fish you are helping the ocean by discouraging the wild-caught trade while supporting the captive-bred industry, making our wonderful hobby more environmental friendly!
