Description
These specimens of Black Storm Clownfish from ORA are offspring of a male Black Storm and a female Black Snowflake. This pair also produces Black Ocellaris and Snow Storms. The Black Storm Clownfish has a mostly pearly white body with irregular black spots. The face is always white with a black eye, but the rest of the fish varies from fish to fish. This means the patterns you get on your fish are completely unique to you. Along with that, there is a subtle hint of blue around the pectoral fin. This fish can be kept in pairs with other Black Storm Clownfish or any other ocellaris variants. It can be hosted by an anemone and particularly enjoys bubble tips. Because this fish is a designer fish, it does not come from the ocean nor does it have a wild equivalent.

More Information
Designer clownfish such as the Black Storm Clownfish are highly desirable for their patterns and coloration, but they are also easier to keep than wild-caught clownfish because they are captive-bred. Captive-bred clownfish are hardier and more resilient to disease than wild-caught clownfish. They are also better adapted to aquarium life and better able to handle the stress of shipping. Purchasing these fish benefits the ocean by hindering the wild-caught trade while supporting the captive-bred industry. This makes our beautiful hobby more sustainable.
