System Overview

Tank

The CADE Reef S3/P 1500 is a Euro-braced, extra-wide rimless tank made from ultra-clear Opti-Clear glass, sealed with precision German Wacker silicone, and finished with a laser-etched logo for authenticity. The Euro brace is paired with polycarbonate lids and side-mount provisions for lighting. Its wide-body footprint enhances aqua scaping depth and coral visibility from all angles. The slimline glass weir features triple-level intakes (surface, mid, low) for superior debris capture and emergency redundancy. Dual drainpipes ensure silent operation, while pre-installed plumbing and a white laminated base simplify setup and maintenance.

Cabinet

Purpose-built and 900mm tall, the CADE S3/P cabinet arrives pre-assembled with the sump installed—just place the tank and connect plumbing. Constructed from 100% waterproof, corrosion-resistant aluminum with magnetic latches and a powder-coated finish, it combines durability and function. Features include dedicated controller panel doors, dual power boards with switches, integrated cable routing, and ventilated dry storage zones for chillers, dosing vessels, and other equipment. It also includes a storage shelf, foam mat, and leveling caster feet for perfect balance.

Filtration

The S3/P sump utilizes a raceway-style flow layout to eliminate dead zones and maximize space efficiency. It’s roller mat ready, replacing traditional filter socks, and includes a Triton Algae Tray for advanced nutrient export. Water moves through skimmer and media chambers before returning to the pump, optimizing contact time and reducing the need for separate reactors. Removable baskets make maintenance simple, and the integrated 40.1L ATO reservoir supports convenient automation (ATO device not included).

Plumbing

CADE’s pre-installed Sanking Flowcolour plumbing uses a screw-fit base plate system for rapid, tool-free setup. The design includes a 40mm main siphon drain with fine-tune gate valve, a 40mm emergency drain, and dual 25mm return lines with non-return valves—neatly concealed in the weir. Reactor and chiller feeds can connect via supplied 17mm barbed fittings or hard plumbing. The system operates quietly, efficiently, and is engineered for professional-grade performance.
